The Modal Shop and NDT-RAM® Resonance Inspection
A significant expansion of Equipcon's capabilities came through our partnership with The Modal Shop (TMS) and our assumption of the full NDT-RAM® resonance inspection business.
Effective January 1, 2026, Equipcon Group assumed responsibility for the customer-facing business associated with The Modal Shop's NDT-RAM resonance inspection solutions. Equipcon is now the exclusive customer-facing provider for NDT-RAM solutions, including sales, system integration, customization, delivery, and customer support.
The Modal Shop continues to lead the design, research and development, and production of its proprietary resonance inspection technologies and critical components. Equipcon brings its established NDT market presence, engineering expertise, customized systems manufacturing capabilities, and application-focused customer support to the NDT-RAM product range.
This transition brings together complementary strengths: The Modal Shop's technology leadership and innovation with Equipcon's system integration, customization, and direct customer support.
For existing NDT-RAM customers, Equipcon is now the primary point of contact for equipment, service, support, upgrades, and future system requirements.
Together, Equipcon and The Modal Shop are continuing to advance resonance inspection solutions that provide reliable, repeatable, and high-confidence inspection results for demanding manufacturing applications.
Nordinkraft AG
Our partner, Nordinkraft, based in Remchingen, Germany, specializes in robust, solution-driven Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and EMAT inspection systems for primary metal manufacturers and downstream processing plants. Their advanced inspection technologies address a wide range of applications, delivering reliable, efficient solutions with high levels of integration and automation.
