Nordiscan-HS
The Nordiscan-HS system is an automatic scanner used for detecting hard spots and/or laminations in heavy plates by utilizing Pulse Eddy Current Probes (PEC) to ensure a highly reliable test compliant with the latest API requirements.
One significant advantage is its independence from the need for demagnetization of plates prior to testing, effectively eliminating the negative impact of residual magnetization.
The scanner also excels in providing comprehensive coverage, avoiding untested zones at edges, even for hard spots as small as 10mm x 10mm. With its adaptable configuration, this system is capable of testing plates for both hard spots (PEC) and laminations (UT).
Remarkably efficient, it takes approximately 6 minutes to test a plate measuring 4000mm x 12000mm.
