Equipcon will be exhibiting at the AISTech 2026 conference, held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As the premier event for the steel and iron industries, AIST (Association for Iron & Steel Technology) brings together companies of all sizes from around the globe to explore innovative trends and emerging technologies shaping the future of the steel industry. This conference offers attendees a comprehensive global perspective on today’s marketplace and the latest advancements in technology.

Join Equipcon at AISTech from May 4th-6th at Booth #1414, where we’ll be exhibiting alongside our exclusive partners, Nordinkraft AG and The Modal Shop, to showcase cutting-edge solutions and expertise:

Nordinkraft AG, based in Remchingen, Germany, specializes in robust, solution-driven Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and EMAT inspection systems for primary metal manufacturers and downstream processing plants. Their innovative ultrasonic inspection technology enables us to address a wide range of inspection needs with reliable, efficient solutions that feature high levels of integration and automation.

We will be showcasing the Nordinkraft Ultrasonic Rider Cart System, a versatile manual solution designed for lamination detection using a patented phased array sensor. It can also be outfitted with shear wave sensors for vertical crack detection and PEC sensors for hard spot detection, a rapidly growing inspection requirement. This system is ideal for companies looking for a cost-effective solution without investing in fully automated or inline equipment.

The Modal Shop, Inc. based in Cincinnati, Ohio will also be joining us where we will be showcasing one of their Resonant Acoustic Inspection Systems. This advanced method identifies both internal and external flaws by transmitting vibration through the part, making it easy to detect changes in shape, mass, or material density.

Following AISTech, Equipcon will shift focus to our industry’s most anticipated event of the year ASNT 2026, held from October 12th–14th at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.
